Fazbear Archive: Case Files is a resource dedicated to documenting incidents that occurred at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. It is not our intention to make light of any of the situations presented here, only to provide a public record. As the biggest source of everything Fazbear related, we felt it was our obligation to make this information public and more accessible.Much of the content featured on this site is very disturbing and oftentimes graphic. BACKGROUND

For the longest time, we viewed mentions of killings at Freddy's as nothing more than rumors. It's been spread as an internet legend and creepypasta as long as we can remember, so when confronted with these stories in the past, we dismissed them as such. That was a mistake. Despite our previous assumptions, there is truth behind these stories.In July of 2026, we were made aware of an image of Bonnie Rabbit covered in blood that was used in a 2013 screamer video. We assumed it was edited, but asked our community if they had any information on the original photo. We got a handful of emails that led us down trails to nowhere. One in particular stood out, however. The email is shown below, though we've censored certain parts in order to protect this individual's privacy. From here on, they'll be referred to as Anon.

We were able to validate Anon's claims and evidence privately. We also spoke to their partner, who was able to give us some additional information. The following description of the incidents has been approved by them and is based on information and evidence they provided. THE FIRST MURDER

On the morning of Sunday, April 24th, 1983, co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment, Henry Emily, reported his daughter Charlotte missing. He claimed she had snuck outside while he was busy doing paperwork late at Fredbear's, but when he realized what had happened, she was already gone.Law enforcement searched for her for months following her disappearance, but they would never find her. Later that year, wrought with grief, Henry Emily took his own life, leaving the business to his partner, William Afton.Two years later, following the 'Fazbear Four' killings, William Afton would reveal in a confession tape sent to police that he was responsible for Charlotte's disappearance and murder. In a second-hand account of his confession tape, Afton implied his motive to be resentment towards his business partner, Henry, after losing custody of his children the year prior.Afton never revealed what he did with the body, so it was never found. The Emily family never got closure. There is no photo evidence of this crime, but Anon did provide us a scanned copy of Charlotte's missing poster.

THE FAZBEAR FOUR

On the morning of June 26, 1985, a Freddy's employee by the name of Jeremy called the police to report evidence that a violent crime had taken place at the restaurant, which had been closed briefly that week for repairs. He recounted to police later on that he had begun the process of opening when he came across the graphic scene.The state of the main show area in the restaurant showed clear signs of a brutal attack. Surrounding one of the party tables in particular, there were blood stains covering nearly every surface leading up to the two stages, including, most disturbingly, the animatronic performers. In addition to that, they observed several chairs knocked over, bundles of rope, and a bloody kitchen knife.

It wasn't much longer until the missing persons started flooding in. Four children, all under the age of 7, had gone missing from their bedrooms sometime during the night. Gabriel Clemens, Jeremy and Susan Foster, and Fritz Donnelly. All lived within 3 miles of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place.After a thorough search of the building and crime scene, investigators discovered the lifeless bodies of the four young victims, crammed into the suits of the animatronic performers on stage. In the back of the building in the maintenance room, they came across the head of a mascot suit covered in blood.Investigators then turned to the CCTV cameras for answers. After receiving the footage from the manager at the scene, they found much of it had been stolen, only leaving a handful of footage from cameras in the back hallway. This, as it turned out, was more than enough, as during a short 5 minute window taken around midnight, the perpetrator had been caught on video, wearing a mascot costume matching the head they found in the back room.

For a moment, the perpetrator was seen without the mask, allowing the manager at the scene to positively identify him as the owner of the establishment, William Michael Afton. Officers rushed to his address to place him under arrest, but found the house abandoned with no car in the driveway.When searching his house, however, they did come across even more evidence in a stash under some floorboards, including the rest of the mascot suit and various incriminating audio recordings.Later that day, another damning piece of evidence was submitted to police. This time, it was an encounter picked up and recorded by an audio monitor in the bedroom of one of the victims. In the recording, you can clearly hear Afton, seemingly playing the character of 'Mr. Bonnie Rabbit,' as he manipulates and lures the young child out of his bedroom window.Perhaps most concerning is how much the child seems to trust Afton and not question his requests. Investigators at the time believed this to be a clear case of premeditated manipulation by Afton. The following audio is extremely disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.

3 days following the incident, on June 29, 1985, police received a verbal confession from Afton himself, in the form of an audio cassette tape. While we don't have the audio of the full confession tape, we do have some snippets of second-hand accounts of the audio, which we have quoted below.Please keep in mind these are approximate recollections of the confession and aren't exact quotes. We currently have no way of validating their accuracy.

William Afton: After I lost custody of my kids, Henry showed no sympathy. He just mocked me. Everyday he flaunted those brats of his around the restaurant. I had to bring him down a notch.William Afton: They screamed and cried. The poor things didn't know how lucky they were. But they will. When they wake up, they will.William Afton: I guess I say this to set the record straight. I've seen what the news is saying about me.William Afton: When you get this tape, I'll be long gone. I won't spend the rest of my life in prison. So don't waste your time looking for me.

Despite the police receiving such an explicit confession, Afton was never caught and likely spent the rest of his life in hiding. There have been various alleged sightings of him in the years since, but those seemed to die down some time in the 2000s. Some people take this as a sign that he passed away, but no one truly knows what happened. If they do, they have yet to come forward with that information.

CRAWL MAZE DEATH

The following incident, to our knowledge, is not tied to William Afton, but is yet another preventable tragedy caused by Fazbear Entertainment's recklessness.Shortly after reopening following the four year closure, in December 1989, a child's body was found in the children's crawl maze underneath the Pirates Cove stage. The child was identified as 12 year old Cassidy Cunningham.As police would later find out, the girl's mother, in an act of negligence, left her alone at the restaurant while she went to work. Investigators determined that the child made their way into a poorly maintained and unlit area of the crawl maze. This area had several loose wires and cables in which the girl got caught.Unfortunately, there was no one there to know to look for her. Investigators estimated that she was probably stuck in the maze for several hours before eventually succumbing to asphyxiation due to the lack of proper ventilation and airflow provided by those who constructed the maze.Following the investigation, Fazbear Entertainment was ordered to shut down the crawl maze permanently, and though they should've been charged with Criminally Negligent Homicide, they pivoted to blaming the mother, and the case was largely swept under the rug.

UNVERIFIED RUMORS

This section consists of deaths or incidents that are rumored to be tied to serial killer, William Afton, or Fazbear Entertainment in some way, but do not have sufficient evidence backing them up. We are merely including this for documentation purposes, and do not wish to speculate on or make light of these incidents. If you have information on any of these cases that would prove or disprove their relation to Fazbear Entertainment, please contact us.

FALLFEST

The Colorado Springs Annual Fallfest was an event held every year from 1970 to 1989. During its last year, the event collaborated with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place to promote the restaurant's reopening. The event featured versions of the Fredbear, Bonnie Rabbit, Sparky, and Puppet animatronics retrofitted to look like new characters.During Fallfest '89, a 15 year old girl who had been volunteering at the event went missing. Unfortunately, in the initial investigation, nothing was found. It was assumed at the time that she ran away, as she had had previous behavioral problems as reported by her parents.More than a month later, in December, Detective Langford was revisiting the case and investigating the fairgrounds once more, when he went missing as well. This was the same Detective Langford that investigated the 'Fazbear Four' killings.Ruby Donahue's body was never found, but a couple weeks later, the Detective's body was found deep within the forest surrounding the fairgrounds. While some people today like to attribute these deaths to serial killer, William Afton, investigators at the time noted that the wounds on Detective Langford's body matched those of a wild animal attack.So, it's more likely that these deaths were caused by a bear or mountain lion in the area, but that hasn't stopped the rumors. This incident is what kickstarted the 'Colorado Bunnyman' legend.

COLORADO BUNNYMAN

The 'Colorado Bunnyman' legend has existed since the Fallfest deaths in 1989, however they gained new life with the rise of internet horror stories and creepypastas in the late 2000s and early 2010s.The basis of the legend comprises of several alleged sightings and encounters with William Afton in the Bonnie Rabbit costume throughout the '90s and early 2000s. Many have claimed to see him peering at them through their bedroom windows or stalking through their neighborhoods, but none of these claims have any credibility whatsoever.There were also rumors of Afton murdering night watchmen who worked at Freddy's, but those are obviously nothing more than campfire horror stories.We want to make it clear that we do not support or condone these rumors as they only serve to discredit and make light of real incidents that happened.

HAUNTINGS

Another rumor we've heard is that the building was haunted by those who unfortunately passed away there, affecting electronics like rides and the animatronic characters. Normally we would dismiss this theory. Much like the Bunnyman legend, it makes light of the tragedies. However, we were provided these photographs taken by one of the rides at the restaurant.These photographs appear to show the animatronic characters in the Rides area, off their stage. What's even weirder is the photos were seemingly taken at night, with the ride's camera somehow being triggered automatically.It's very possible these images are fabricated, but they would be very good fakes. In the era of generative AI, it's hard to tell. We don't really know what to make of these, but we thought they were worth including anyway. If you have any information on these, please contact us.

IN CLOSING

We made an effort in writing this to not overdramatize or inject too many of our own opinions into this, however we can't help but be baffled that so much of this evidence has been buried until today. We're not here to throw out allegations, but if what Anon said is true about Fazbear Entertainment trying to cover up and discredit this, then they've sure done a damn good job.We believe this information needs to be public. People need to know what happened. That is our mission in creating this resource.We're all very conflicted on how to feel about any of this, but we do want to say this. If you want to continue enjoying Fazbear related content, that's valid. If after learning this, you want nothing to do with Freddy's anymore, that's valid as well.Right now, I think we stand somewhere in the middle. We've seen how much love there is out there for Freddy's content and nostalgia. How much it's changed people's lives for the better. It's certainly changed ours. But to move on and try to ignore the tragedy-ridden history of the brand would be wrong. It's hard to view Freddy's the same way after learning of all of this. We're feeling it too.We're unsure what the future of Fazbear Archive holds, but for now we plan to continue covering content as usual.
